Mixed impressions of the 5* hotel
Our family arrived at the hotel at night, quickly checked in, went up to the room, and it was completely NOT the same as the one we booked and a class lower. We went downstairs with our things, started to find out, but the administrator refused to change the supposedly standard room in our reservation. I showed him a photo of the booked room, the reservation, BUT it was in Arabic and it was unclear what was written there - to no avail, he said no, you have a standard room.
I gave him the keys and started writing to Trip.com support, fortunately there is a 24-hour support with an English-speaking employee: I described the situation, sent a photo of the room provided, waited for a decision. Result: we were never provided with the booked room, they gave us another room (shown in the photo), in which we stayed, since at 1 am with a child after the plane it was already impossible to argue.
Double room: ONE robe, ONE shampoo, ONE conditioner, ONE shower gel, ONE toothbrush, none of this for the second! There is NOTHING for a child who stays for free, not even towels!
Bed linen: two stains, this is the first time I have seen this in a 5-star hotel and I think it is unacceptable!
Positive: excellent soundproofing, you can't hear anyone, the pool on the top floor is wonderful and warm.
Breakfast was included for adults, they charged 2.5 reals for a child, the breakfast was impeccable and this is the best thing about the hotel.
We got from the airport for 6.5 reals by taxi, and back for 2.5 reals.
The location of the hotel is ideal: shopping centers, a mosque, restaurants and the coast is close. BUT at 10 am, for some reason, a taxi to the mosque one way cost as much as 20 reals.
Will I choose this hotel on my next trip - probably not, since I value cleanliness, service and quality more and I think it is unforgivable for a 5* to organize their clients' vacation like this!
